OVERVIEW
An 1823 estate house built by Stephen Ewing in what is now Hampton Cove, where a relative, sixteen-year-old Sally Carter, died of illness in 1837.
REPORTED ACTIVITY
The best-known report dates to 1919, when a boy staying at the house said Sally's spirit asked him to fix her fallen tombstone, which his family found had indeed toppled; sightings of her continue to be reported.
