DIRECTIONS →OVERVIEW
The graveyard of the Circular Congregational Church, whose congregation dates to 1681, is likely the oldest English burial ground surviving in Charleston. More than five hundred markers remain, the earliest inscribed stone dated 1729 and the oldest grave believed to be from 1695.
