OVERVIEW

A historic building on Delaware Street built across from Dr. John Finney's home (now the Amstel House) for his son David Finney; local tradition holds the two buildings were once connected by an underground tunnel, and the inn later operated for years as a bed-and-breakfast and restaurant.

REPORTED ACTIVITY

Guests and staff described doors and windows opening on their own and objects moving on the third floor, activity often attributed to a Finney family member and linked to similar reports across the street at the Amstel House.

VISITING

The historic building still stands in Old New Castle; it is no longer operating as an inn, but is visible from the street within the town's historic district.
