OVERVIEW

A stone-covered spring at the base of Culp's Hill where soldiers of both armies drew water amid the July 1863 fighting; tradition holds that men from both sides briefly shared the spring during a lull.

REPORTED ACTIVITY

The spring is tied to a "Woman in White" legend, a female figure said to appear near the water at twilight, along with reports of soldiers seen among the surrounding rocks.
