A restored 1905 hotel on McMinnville's main street, run by McMenamins, that hosts the annual UFO Festival — the largest such gathering in the Pacific Northwest — commemorating the 1950 McMinnville sighting.
REPORTED ACTIVITY
On May 11, 1950, local farmers Paul and Evelyn Trent photographed a metallic disc near McMinnville; reprinted in Life magazine, the images are among the most famous UFO photographs ever taken and remain debated to this day.
