OVERVIEW
The 1908 passenger station of the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad in Scranton, a French Renaissance building whose waiting room is faced in Siena marble under a Tiffany glass ceiling, converted to a hotel in 1983 after the trains stopped. It is a National Historic Landmark.
HISTORY
Scranton's anthracite and its railroads built the station; the Steamtown National Historic Site is next door.
