OVERVIEW

A restored Bond Street row house that was the last home of William Lyon Mackenzie, leader of the 1837 Rebellion and Toronto's first mayor, who died here in 1861; now a City of Toronto museum.

REPORTED ACTIVITY

Caretakers in the 1950s and 1960s publicly reported apparitions, a phantom piano, and footsteps; the accounts remain among the best-known haunting reports in the city.
