Oasis Bordello Museum
FOLLOWWallace, ID
DIRECTIONS →OVERVIEW
Housed in the 1895 Bi-Metallic Building, the Oasis operated openly as a bordello serving Wallace's mining district until a 1988 raid, after which its occupants left abruptly, leaving clothing, furnishings, and even groceries behind; the rooms have been preserved as a museum since 1993.
REPORTED ACTIVITY
Staff and visitors report a sense of being watched and unexplained sounds in the upstairs rooms, consistent with the building's long-rumored haunted reputation.
VISITING
Open to the public as a museum with guided tours.
