DIRECTIONS →OVERVIEW
An 1825 lighthouse on a rocky headland guarding the entrance to Rockland Harbor, still an active Coast Guard aid to navigation with public grounds and a small museum in the former keeper's house.
REPORTED ACTIVITY
Reports describe a former keeper who reportedly polishes the brass, keeps the thermostat low, and once roused a sleeping keeper to ring the fog bell in time, alongside a separate presence nicknamed the "Little Lady" seen in the kitchen and heard rattling silverware.
VISITING
Grounds are open to the public; the keeper's house museum operates seasonally.
