On the night of October 11, 1973, shipyard workers Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker reported being taken aboard a hovering craft while fishing on the west bank of the Pascagoula River; a Mississippi historical marker was dedicated at the site in 2019.
REPORTED ACTIVITY
Both men described being examined by crab-clawed, gray-skinned beings before being released; their accounts, given separately to investigators, remained consistent, and Hickson reportedly passed a polygraph examination.
