OVERVIEW

Chartered in 1845 and now the second-largest cemetery in the country, Spring Grove is known for its landscaped grounds, Norman-style chapel, and elaborate 19th-century family mausoleums designed by architect Samuel Hannaford.

REPORTED ACTIVITY

Reported activity centers on the Dexter family mausoleum, said to be watched over by ghostly dogs, and a bronze grave bust in Lot 100 that visitors describe as appearing to turn its head.
