DIRECTIONS →OVERVIEW
Willard Library, endowed by Willard Carpenter and opened in 1885, is Indiana's oldest public library building still used for its original purpose.
REPORTED ACTIVITY
Since a custodian's 1937 encounter, staff and patrons have reported a shawled apparition known as the Grey Lady, often linked to Carpenter's daughter Louise; the library has streamed live "ghost cams" of its most active rooms since 1999.
VISITING
An operating public library, open to visitors; the ghost cam feeds are viewable online.
