OVERVIEW

Once the largest Greek Revival mansion in Mississippi, built 1859–1861 for planter Smith Coffee Daniell II, who died within weeks of its completion; the mansion burned down in 1890, leaving 23 columns and iron stairways standing.

REPORTED ACTIVITY

Visitors and locals report whispers and moving shadows among the columns, along with sightings tied to a Union soldier reportedly killed in the doorway during the Civil War and sounds of a long-past party.
