THE OBJECT
A porcelain-headed baby doll made in England or Germany around 1910–1920, with a cracked head and torn cloth body. Donated to the Quesnel museum in 1991 by a woman who had it from her grandmother; the museum keeps her in a locked case with a scrapbook of visitors' accounts and a QR code for their stories.
REPORTED ACTIVITY
The donor said she heard a baby crying in the basement where the doll was kept, and that it stopped when the doll left the house. Museum staff reported the photography lab in disarray after she was left there overnight, and a stuffed lamb found outside her locked case. All of it is reported by the museum as report, not as finding.
