DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

1. HOW TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

Your ODPSI account is the same account you use in the PR|FIS app (Paranormal Research Field Investigation System) and on this website. You can delete it in either place:

In the PR|FIS app: open ACCOUNT, then tap DELETE ACCOUNT and type DELETE to confirm.

On the web: sign in below (or open ACCOUNT from the menu), choose DELETE MY ACCOUNT and type DELETE to confirm.

If you can no longer sign in, email us from the address on the account and we will delete it for you as soon as possible.

2. WHAT IS DELETED

Deletion is immediate and permanent. We delete your login and profile (email, display name, callsign, dossier), your synced investigation sessions with their EVP recordings, photos and videos, personal notes, chat messages and room memberships, group memberships, bookmarks and reading progress, saved places, notifications, XP and commendations, articles and Wire posts you wrote, event reports, location edits and the evidence and history entries you added to location records, and any business listings and calendar events you own.

Any active subscription — your membership and any business listing — is cancelled at the same time, so you are not charged again.

Sessions stored only on your phone stay there until you delete them in the app or uninstall it.

3. WHAT IS KEPT

Some contributions become part of the shared record other investigators rely on: map locations and haunted objects you submitted (and the submissions behind them), evidence and documents in shared group projects, groups and chat rooms you created (so their other members keep them), and suggestions you sent us. These stay, but your name is removed from them.

Payment records are kept by our payment processor, Stripe, as the law requires for tax and accounting. Copies in our hosting provider’s routine database backups are overwritten as those backups expire.
